Rustenburg – The annual Rustenburg Cycling Club (RCC)’s Kgaswane mountain bike race took place on Saturday 27 July.

Scores of cyclists made their way to Excalibur Boutique Hotel in Rustenburg to compete in either the 50km, 35km or 10km categories.

Pieter du Toit was crowned champion of the gruelling but fun 50km race while defending champion Shaun Nick Bester had to settle for third. RCC members did themselves and their club proud by taking part and doing very well.

“We would like to thank all the sponsors for making the day a massive success,” said Gregg Taylor, RCC chairperson.
