Rustenburg – Yet another criminal was taken off the streets of Rustenburg thanks to the collaboration between the Rustenburg Police and Bojanala Crime Unit (BCU).

Rustenburg has many crime fighting partners that continue to yield positive successes.
Mothusi Seome was sentenced to 18 months in jail on Tuesday 18 June by the Rustenburg Magistrates’ Court on charges of theft.

According to police spokesperson sergeant Ofentse Mokgadi, the suspect’s modus operandi was to break into vehicles and steal items inside. 

The BCU persued a cold case and after months of investigation, they managed to track the perpetrator.
