SAPS
Rustenburg – Enthusiastic learners from four local schools gained insights on how the Rustenburg police station operates and learned other aspects of the criminal justice system on Thursday 30 May during its Take A Child To Work Day.
The students from New Covenant School, Bergsig Academy, Hoërskool Grenswag and Tirelong Secondary School had a walkabout and observed various departments.
Police officers were ready to answer all questions.
In an interview with Platinum Weekly, Isaac Mokgope, a teacher at New Covenant School, said such experiences are important in equipping learners with vital information that could come in handy when choosing their career paths.
