Three for three
Rustenburg – Darren Archer from Rustenburg entered the Mr Deaf South Africa (MDSA) pageant scheduled for August in Pretoria. This year would be his third year in the paegent.
Darren entered the MDSA in 2017 and was fortunate to take home the ‘Mr Deaf Charity’ award. In 2018, he landed a spot in the top four log and again won the title of Mr Deaf Charity South Africa 2018.
His platform, Deaf Heart, focuses on raising funds for various causes that includes animal welfare and deaf schools, especially Kutlwanong Deaf School in Rustenburg.

“This would be my third time competing in the pageant. Every time is such a motivating experience and I am grateful to have the opportunity and platform to assist those in need,” Darren said in an interview with Platinum Weekly.
