Rustenburg – The international peace poster contest’s district awards was held on Sunday, 25 November at Wilro Park Lions Club in Roodepoort.

Minke Grobler from Laerskool Proteapark took second place in the local contest and won the district 410B portion of the contest.

She also took third place in the competition’s multiple district 410 leg, where she competed against entries from all over South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland. 

Ayanda Fono from Rutanang Primary Education Centre won the local leg of this contest and finished second in the district competition. 

Thank you to the parents, grandparents, families and teachers who attended the district awards and supported this initiative.
