ANOTHER FARM ATTACK

Zeerust/ Rustenburg – Two men overpowered and assaulted a farmer at his house at Nooitgedacht near Zeerust before fleeing in his Colt bakkie, registration plates: JLG 566 NW, on Tuesday morning, 1 May.

The farmer, Danie Booysen, was injured by the attackers who took his cellphone and then drove away in his bakkie in the direction of Rustenburg. The police with the assistance of the company that fitted a tracking device in the bakkie managed to trace the vehicle in Boitekong near Rustenburg.

Police spokesperson, sergeant Kelebogile Moleko, could not confirm the exact number of attackers. She indicated that the suspects were still at large and that the police are still investigating.
