Suspects linked to 13 cases 

Rustenburg/ Brits – Three suspects, among them a female, had been arrested following an intensive investigation following reports of kidnappings and robbery incidents around Brits and Rustenburg.

According to a police statement, the three were arrested following a joint operation by the Mooinooi police and the Brits Cluster.

The suspects aged 38, 39 and 74 are linked in 13 cases. The police have also identified a vehicle, a silver Volvo, which is linked to the same suspects. The investigation is still ongoing.

The suspects appeared before the Brits Magistrates’ Court on robbery and kidnapping charges on Monday, 23 April, and their case was remanded to 4 May
