Rustenburg – Tshenolo Guest House and TnT Bed and Breakfast have taken on six trainees at no cost, in the Hospitality Youth Training Programme, an Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP), an initiative of the National Department of Tourism.

This programme will enable trainees to set the standards to meet and even exceed the rising customers’ expectations of the hospitality and tourism sector.

The trainees’ programme commenced in December 2016 and will end in November 2018 and will provide tourism and hospitality skills in both urban and rural areas of the North West.  TnT Bed and Breakfast and Tshenolo Guest House as well as Segailele Guest House are well established in Rustenburg and are run by a young and vibrant team. Well known DJ’s, The Don & Greg who often bring in the crowds work closely with the trainee’s in promoting the guesthouses.

“We are happy to open our doors to these trainees as this is how we build the industry, I am extremely happy with the progress of the trainees and feel that we could all play a role in the improvement of our communities, and to promote youth development in South Africa,” says Tshenolo Mokgara, manager of all three guesthouses.
