Rustenburg – I would like to give my sincerest thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff at Life Peglerae Hospital (or Peglerae to us locals).

On Sunday evening, 28 January, my daughter rushed me the emergency room after I started feeling sick. Being a widow in my mid 80’s; I was frightened and honestly just wanted to stay at home but upon arrival the staff immediately attended to me.

For the next four days I was bedridden and absolutely in their care. During this trying time, the staff treated me with care, respect and professionalism. They gave me the impression that they were genuinely concerned for my well-being, not just waiting for their shift to end.

That’s what inspired me to write this open letter to thank all the staff at Life Peglerae. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You are a shining example of what a hospital should be!
-With admiration, OumaTokkie
