Criminal elements not welcome in Rustenburg

Rustenburg – The Rustenburg Local Municipality (RLM) and the South African Police Service worked hand in hand on a safe-and-clean-city operation on Friday, 26 January in the city. 

Certain schools, a haven of illegal activities and drug trafficking, were closed and others received fines for noncompliance with municipal bylaws.

“Criminal elements in Rustenburg are not welcome,” says councillor Mpho Khunou, executive mayor of RLM in a press conference on Tuesday, 23 January.
