Rustenburg – A progressive drive initiated by the Rustenburg Local Municipality (RLM) budget and treasury office (BTO) was launched on Monday, 13 November.

In a bid to continue rendering a quality service to residents, the drive focuses on updating customer information. That is, contact numbers, e-mail addresses, meter numbers, signing service level agreements and indigent registration. The drive has achieved remarkable success to date and continues until Monday, 11 December.

Says Nqobile Sithole, municipal manager: “This drive is part of RLM’s revenue enhancement strategy. We want to ensure that the municipality is financially sustainable, enabling us to render quality services to residents.”
