Rustenburg – The Rustenburg Police come into contact with many needy children in their daily work. They are well aware of children in situations we could never imagine.

These children don’t know the excitement of ripping off wrapping paper and discovering the wonderful surprise it holds.

This year, with hearts of gold, Captain Elsabé Augoustides and Captain Karien du Plooy have taken the initiative upon themselves to bring the joy of Christmas to these little people.

We appeal to the public to donate any clean, usable, educational toys, soft toys, scooters or bicycles… your kids might have outgrown or no longer use.

We request that each toy is wrapped and marked with the age and gender the gift is intended for.

All donations can be dropped off at the Platinum Weekly offices at 50 Marais street, Rustenburg. Toys will be collected on a weekly basis and distributed amongst the neediest of children.
