PAWSOME GENEROSITY! 

Rustenburg – The tails were wagging, and the purrs were plenty on Friday, 17 January 2025, as RCL Foods continued their heartfelt tradition of supporting the Rustenburg Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

Since December 2023, RCL Foods has been making a generous monthly donation of 14 bags of dog food and 6 bags of cat food. Though the exact weight of each bag is unknown, the total donation rounds up to an incredible one tonne (1,000 kg) of pet food — ensuring that the shelter’s furry residents receive the nourishment they need.

Ensuring the safe delivery of this much-needed food, Build it stepped in to transport the donation to the Rustenburg SPCA. The Rustenburg SPCA committee member, Suenell van der Walt, expressed her gratitude, stating, “We are immensely thankful for RCL Foods and Build it, who have been a big help to the SPCA in Rustenburg.”

The Rustenburg SPCA continues to rely on the kindness of the community to provide care for abandoned and mistreated animals. Those wishing to contribute can drop off donations at their office at 11 Eskom Street, Rustenburg. For more information, contact the Rustenburg SPCA on 014 592 3181.
