Mantserre Mourns the Loss of Two Little Angels

Platinum Weekly newspaper | Rustenburg – The Mantserre community is reeling in sorrow following the heartbreaking loss of two young children on 25 January 2025.

According to warrant officer Ofentse Mokgadi, two inquest cases have been opened after the children, aged three and four, were discovered inside a Mercedes-Benz motor vehicle that was not in use and reportedly awaiting repairs. The children were found inside the vehicle and were pronounced dead at approximately 17:00. No visible injuries were observed on their bodies at the scene.

A third child, aged two, survived the incident and was rushed to a local hospital for medical attention. Authorities have not released further details regarding the child’s condition. Police investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
