Join BirdLife Rustenburg this weekend

Rustenburg – BirdLife Rustenburg’s October outing will be held on the weekend of 20-22 October and will be to Nylsvley Nature Reserve. This reserve is situated in the 70km long Nyl Floodplain. It is one of SA’s largest and least impacted wetlands (4000 hectares) and is also a Ramsar Site (a wetland of International importance). Apart from the almost 400 species of birds there are also over a thousand large mammals including breeding herds of Tsessebe and Roan antelope. Target species will be all water birds but with emphasis on the members of the Crake family.
